Bhediya film industry: Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s film showed a 28 percent development and gathered ₹9.57 crore on day 2. Bhediya was delivered on November 25.

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s film Bhediya showed a good development on Saturday after a tepid opening on Friday. Coordinated by Amar Kaushik of Stree acclaim, the film proceeded to gather ₹9.57 crore on day two of its delivery. It presently remains at a two-day all out of ₹17.05 crore. Bhediya is a ghastliness parody that follows Bhaskar (Varun Dhawan), who changes into a werewolf on each full moon night subsequent to being chomped by a legendary wolf. The film likewise stars Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee and Paalin Kabak. Shraddha Kapoor likewise has an appearance in the film. It is delivered by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Movies and Jio Studios.

The makers of the film said Bhediya gathered ₹14.60 cr gross overall on day 2. As per them, it had gathered ₹12.06 crore gross overall on Friday and proceeded to show 28% development on day 2.
The Hindustan Times survey of the film says Bhediya is on par with Stree. A portion of it read, “From great satire and a clever idea to VFX, solid screenplay, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon-starrer Bhediya gives adequate minutes to snicker and cry throughout…”
Bhediya is the third contribution in Dinesh Vijan’s shock parody universe after Stree (2018) and Roohi (2020). Amar Kaushik said he looked for no motivation from Hollywood to make the universe of Bhediya. “It isn’t so much that that we have checked Hollywood and made this out. The scholars had a seed of a thought regarding creatures and afterward we continued to get to the next level. We needed to make something that is of global norm, we took all the help to make it,” he had as of late told PTI.
