The quake of greatness 5.8 struck Nepal, sending quakes across the capital locale, the Public Place for Seismology said in a tweet.
“Quake of Magnitude:5.8, Happened on 24-01-2023, 14:28:31 IST, Lat: 29.41 and Long: 81.68, Profundity: 10 Km ,Area: Nepal,” the NCS said.
Monika Dahal, who is top of the Public Seismic tremor Observing and Exploration Center, said that the shudder estimating 5.9-extent was felt in the more extensive areas of Western Nepal. It was additionally felt in certain pieces of adjoining India.

In December 2022, three quakes shocked Western Nepal one after another.
